The Boston Family Field Trip on October 9-12, 206 is a chance for families to travel together to Boston & Concord to experience history in the very place it happened.
We'll walk the cobblestone streets of Paul Revere. We'll see the very steeple where lanterns signaled two if by sea. We’ll toss tea from a tall-ship into the Boson harbor. And we'll watch the American Revolution unfold on the Freedom Trail.
Then we'll take a deluxe motor coach to Concord, MA where we'll visit Louisa May Alcott's Orchard House and stroll along the peaceful shores of Walden Pond, where Henry David Thoreau reflected on simplicity, nature, and living deliberately.
The Boston Family Field Trip is your invitation to step into history as a family, and carry the story home with you. Space is limited to 10-12 families.
Come with us to experience some of the greatest stories ever told!
However you travel to Boston—by plane or by car—your adventure begins on Friday, October 9, 2026, as we gather at 6:00 PM at our downtown hotel for an orientation and shared dinner. You'll have a chance to meet the other families, settle in, and begin the experience together as we enjoy a meal and walk through what the days ahead will hold, setting the stage for the journey back in time.
After breakfast on your own, we’ll walk to the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum to experience the story firsthand aboard a replica tall ship, then continue on to Faneuil Hall Marketplace where you’ll enjoy lunch on your own at Quincy Market. In the early afternoon, we’ll explore the Freedom Trail through Boston’s North End, including a visit to the home of Paul Revere, and we’ll end the afternoon with a slice of original Boston Cream Pie at the Parker House Hotel where it was first created, before you enjoy dinner on your own.
After breakfast on your own, we’ll board a deluxe motor coach and travel to Concord, MA, stopping first at Lexington Green and Buckman’s Tavern where the Revolutionary War began, then continuing to the nearby capture site of Paul Revere.
We’ll enjoy lunch at the historic Colonial Inn before visiting Orchard House, where Louisa May Alcott wrote Little Women, and then head to Walden Pond to wander the peaceful shoreline where Henry David Thoreau once walked, ending the day with our return to Boston where you can enjoy dinner on your own.
After breakfast on your own, we’ll enjoy a final morning together with no scheduled activities, giving you time to explore the city at your own pace before heading for home.
